Snowfall in Parallel Universe or the One That Got Away: surreal art-print, poster, book, desktop-wallpaper
Snowfall in Parallel Universe or the One That Got Away:Snowfall in the parallel universe is an echo to the well-common condition that one might experience during the life time. In psychology, this type of behavior is somewhat similar to a relationship obsessive–compulsive disorder. The form of disorder that is focusing on past or present people’s romantic relationships. Such obsessions can become extremely distressing and debilitating, having negative impacts on person’s state of mind. A disorder comprises continuous thoughts, images or fantasies about the subject of obsession, which is distressing and interferes with a person's life. Attempts to suppress or "nullify" thoughts increase rather than decrease the frequency and distress caused by the obsessions. Like other forms of obsessive–compulsive disorder it has a psychological and biological factor, such as an eruption of flow of adrenaline, serotonin, and dopamine in person’s physic. Doctors believe it plays a major role in the development and maintenance of disorder.
Here is a characterization of a metaphor “The one that got away”. That is an elusive, surreal, or nostalgic person that might surface sometimes in one’s memories. That is somebody who has a special, high-ranking place in the row of your past loved ones. They are the one who exists below consciousness of your mind, floats to the surface of your thoughts at times, the one you might still wonder what could have happened with - in a parallel universe. The one that got away is someone who you meet romantically for a brief moment in your life, but lost before you found what it could could have been for you. Things simply didn’t work out because you were young and immature or one had to move-on to a “parallel universe”. Maybe you just weren’t ready enough for each other at that time.
You never really found out what you two could be to each other. It just ended, for circumstances other than falling out of love. Your breakup didn’t really change your opinion about them. They are someone who deserves love in their lives, but some other person would be lucky to be with them. You know your ex will always be the one that got away because your feelings have been left unfinished and unresolved. Your relationship did not have a proper closure. You still admire them to let your breakup change your opinion of them. The one that got away always raises the bar on what a life-changing love can really be like.
